Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Team is seeking an assistant who wants variety in their day-to-day activities and is willing to assist in all areas of the department.

• Assist in month end closing process
• Assist payroll department with employee timecards
• Maintain and verify employee time punches
• Match vendor packing slips to invoices
• Code and post vendor invoices
• Assist in customer billing process
• Help Accounts Receivable code incoming checks and prepare deposits
• Various projects or duties as assigned

• High School Diploma Required, Associate Degree is not required, but preferred
• 2-3 years of related accounting experience
• Good accounting basics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Team player
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Excellent time management skills
• Inquisitive mind, not afraid to question the information given to them
