Question: What are the operation standards or restrictions?
Answer: I most municipalities the preferred operational practice is to operate the display from sunrise to sunset. This way the sign is programmed to shut off at dark and comes back on when the sun rises. Each municipality may or may not have restrictions for this technology. We recommend 2 second frame durations, No flashing, and minimal frame effects.
Question: Is it possible to have messages start and/or stop at a specific time?
Answer: Yes. This is called scheduling. We will setup a run time schedule in most cases anyway to have the sign run from sunrise to sunset each day. Any frame or series of frames can be scheduled to start and/or stop at a specific time. We recommend scheduling any time or date sensitive events.
